Smt. Sharda Ganesan, the eldest daughter of Guruji and younger sister of Raja Sir is a graduate in Fine Arts (Dance) from the Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya under Dr.Smt.Kanak Rele. She, who is also trained in Odissi under Guru Shankar Behra and Padmabhushan Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, has also been fortunate to learn Kuchipudi under Guru C R Acharyalu and Guru Vempatti Chinna Satyam. Sharada Ganesan's talent and experience is not limited to just dance but also extends to the fields of Carnatic music and Tabla and was selected for the Central Government Scholarship for Nattuvangam. Today, Sharada is know as one of the first lady nattuvanaars in the city of Mumbai. A teacher of this fine art of dance, she is known for her precision and perfection in training her students with a good balance of discipline. She looks after the activities in the Mulund centre of Kalasadan. Dedicated to the teaching of Bharatanatyam for the last four decades, she is known for her aesthetic and detailed choreography of dance ballets for the institution.
